The protagonist is Vittoria - a young actress who stands out among other candidates for the role in Verdi's opera "Romeo and Juliet". However, her dreams are shattered when she is excluded due to a shadow from her past. At this moment, Vittoria decides to take a bold step - she decides to try again under a false identity to prove her talent. She transforms into someone else on November 10th, offers herself for the role of Romeo and gets the part. Playing someone else, both on stage and behind the scenes, doesn't seem complicated to her, but in reality, this new identity allows her to discover many things about herself and the people around her.

One of the main themes of the film is self-discovery. Vittoria, embodying a new persona, discovers new aspects of her identity and ultimately becomes more complete. Another important motif is love - not only the love between Romeo and Juliet, but also love for art and oneself.
